ARE THERE ANY EXCURSIONS OR NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES?
Yes! As a participant, you will have the chance to join outings with your peers and attend guest lectures by industry professionals.
WHAT WILL STUDENTS DO OUTSIDE OF CLASS?
You’ll have access to the vibrant city of Philadelphia, where you can explore its rich art and culture alongside your fellow students. Additionally, we’ll host Wharton Academy dinners and fun events to help you connect and build relationships with your cohort.
WILL I BE ABLE TO MEET WITH WHARTON OR PENN STUDENTS?
Yes, being on campus gives you access to Wharton staff, and you’ll have opportunities to connect with them throughout your program.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAMS?
Our programs are designed by Wharton School faculty to ensure:
- A strong understanding of core subject matter.
- Hands-on implementation of concepts in a classroom setting.
- Connections to real-world business challenges.
- Participants also benefit from faculty and peer networks, create work samples for their resumes, and receive a certificate of completion.
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE?
Participants in our two-week intensive programs experience a balance of rigorous academics and real-world application:
- Start the day with collaborative workshops on advanced business concepts.
- Attend engaging lectures led by Wharton faculty experts.
- Participate in hands-on activities like case studies and statistical modeling.
- Work on group capstone projects, designing solutions to complex business challenges.
WILL I EARN A CERTIFICATE?
Yes! Upon completing all sessions, you will receive a certificate of completion. If an emergency prevents attendance, please inform our staff.
WHAT ARE THE TAKEAWAYS FROM THE PROGRAM? WILL I CREATE WORK SAMPLES?
Yes! You’ll create real-world work samples to add to your portfolio, which can be valuable during job interviews to showcase your mastery of the subject matter.
ARE THERE DISCOUNTS OR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES?
Currently, we do not offer financial support but are working on partnerships to provide future opportunities. Check our website regularly for updates.
ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIP OR FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES?
- Warburg Pincus Fellowship: Available to students in the first summer cohort of the Fundamentals of Corporate Finance and Valuation program, this fellowship is specifically for finance scholars.
- At this time, there are no additional scholarship opportunities for other programs. Please check our website often for updates.
WHAT TOPICS ARE COVERED IN EACH SUBJECT?
- A general schedule is available for prospective students. Once enrolled, you’ll receive access to the final schedule.
Applications & Admissions
IF I AM A FRESHMAN WITH NO COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT, WHAT CAN I SUBMIT?
You can submit your high school transcript along with an unofficial college transcript.
CAN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLY?
Yes! International students will need:
- A B1 visa to study.
- Proof of English proficiency, such as:
- TOEFL (minimum score: 100).
- IELTS (minimum band: 7).
- Duolingo (minimum score: 130).
CAN I APPLY TO MORE THAN ONE PROGRAM?
Absolutely! You are welcome to apply to as many programs as you like.
